John Zitzner discusses how he worked with Boston-based organization, Building Excellent Schools, to launch e-Prep, a Cleveland charter school that is also part of the Schools That Can network. As part of its curriculum, e-Prep offers an entrepreneurship class, during which every child learns how to start and operate his or her own business, while also learning about math, money, and finances. Within four years, e-Prep's eighth graders -- 95% African American and 82% in poverty -- scored number one in the county on the State of Ohio reading achievement tests.
