@15turkey15 ya, ik, but hot fuss had this great dark-joy division with meoldy type sound lol. they're pretty much gone now, the killers. and i thought oasis was their big influence?

not true. although they are pretty much my favorite band, there are many similar sounding bands. the most similar is U2, which is the killer's biggest inspiration. thye decided to form a band when they saw u2 in vegas. also, they sound like the strokes alot of the time.
i love them too, but they dont exactly have the most origional sound in the world. :-)
