Zak (Steve Halliwell) and John (James Thornton) come to an agreement over the sheep, but John is wise to their scheming when he notices theyve been sheared and the ID tags have been tampered with. However, Aaron (Danny Miller) thinks the Bartons have got one over on the Dingles when John takes a piglet in compensation. Later that day Aaron notices Rodneys (Patrick Mower) new van rolling towards the Home Farm shop, after Rodney forgets to put the hand brake on. Panic sets in when Aaron cant stop the van and despite Johns help theres nothing they can do. John warns Aaron to jump but the van ends up crashing into the Home Farm shop with Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi), Ryan (James Sutton) and Doug (Duncan Preston) still inside. Has tragedy struck the village?
Also, Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) receives a phone call from Natasha but his attention is distracted by Fayes (Kim Thomson) continuing presence. Cain (Jeff Hordley) asks Faye how shes settling in and tries to glean an idea of her current feelings for Mark. She tells him to back off. Later, Ryan (James Sutton) offers to help Doug (Duncan Preston) with some DIY at the farm shop, unbeknownst to Mark.
Meanwhile, Rodney is excited ahead of the arrival of his company car. Hes mortified later that day when he discovers the car is in fact a delivery van. Rodney is glad of Dianes (Elizabeth Estensen) support when Pollard (Chris Chittell) and Val (Charlie Hardwick) clap eyes on his new set of wheels, falling about with laughter.
That would happen..
