Youthu Yindi - Treaty (Remix) Best Version

"Treaty" was composed by Yothu Yindi in collaboration with Paul Kelly and Midnight Oil to protest the failure of the Australian Government to honour the Prime Minister's promise to Indigenous Australians at the Barunga Festival. The song was remixed in Melbourne by Filthy Lucre in 1991 and rapidly climbed the Australian charts as did the album on which it was released, Tribal Voice (1992).

Fantastic song. I'm a white australian who grew up in country nsw. I love this song and everytime i hear it, it gives me goosebumps. I have an enormous amount of indiginous friends who have great pride in who they are and their heritige. For all those racist white people out there here is a big FUCK YOU on behalf of aboriginals and the decent white folk.

Money that have no value other then "virtual". I think it was more clever to stay in Africa, Australia, and watch the sun, play with kids and dance around a fire in a bush, and forward this traditions to next generations while having a walk with the spear with no nike shit on feet for 200USD / pair ... that is being clever - not lazy...
