Bill Clement Interviewing Nancy Faust back around 1988 or so; give or take a year. My regrets on the poor quality; I found this on an old VHS recently. Still amazed at the character this grand instrument brought to the Stadium. They claim it was cost prohibitive to move the Organ across the street; Wirtz should have bit the bullet and kept the uniqueness. He probably could have gotten some folks to donate to defer moving cost.
@skifusya agreed, Frank Pellico is terrible. He wanted to get rid of this organ.

Southparkfan2717. Why not start a petition? I for one would visit Chicago in 2012 if she returned. Go for sometime in September, not a Sunday. When we travel to NY on our holidays we watch the Giants on a Sunday.

@snowman5676 Her contract wasn't renewed in the fall of '89. Either Wirtz was upset that she played at a few games in Minnesota in '88-89 (while the Hawks were out of town, of course), or someone in the organ-I-zation just preferred the wretch-inducing slow waltzes and lullabys that Pellico specializes in. Either way, just sad....

Why did she leave the stadium she is far better than that bum Pellico .

@snowman5676 That is so true. I'm very glad Pellico isn't taking over for Nancy at USCF. I love the Sox and the Hawks, but I don't like Frank Pellico.

@skifusya Yea if it wasn't for Pellico that console would be in the uc and pipes in the rafters.

This is from the Hawks-Capitals game of January 17, 1988. Very disappointing when somnolent Frank Pellico was brought in to replace Nancy after the 1988-89 season.

Having attended games back in the 60s, yes, I was there for the Stanley Cup win by The Chicago Blackhawks. That was when Al Melgard was the organist. My favorite was "Stormy Weather," with the thunder.

My favorite one they always played in the old Chicago Stadium was "Touch Me" by The Doors.
