I don't watch much movies, so what x.1 would be best for me?

the best choice for you would be a 5.1 system because you have cinema sound, and as you said you don't watch much movies, a 5.1 system isn't very expensive.

Then again, 5.1 are a bit unpracticul for me since my 5.1 card outputs the Rear low, when all settings are high. All i want is 2.1 really.

yes, but you don't have real cinema sound with a 2.1 system, but if you use it for normal tv series or music it's enough to buy a 2.1

yes, it is the best, but on the picture it is 7.1...

I've got a 7.1 an it works perfectly, the title only means 5.1 is required, 7.1 is even better.

ive got the Razer Barracadua Hp-1 Gaming Headset and the sound quality and surround effects are perfect, even without the razer soundcard.

sounds great with my plantronics 777 xD

but its pain that the headset only works with 5.1 and 7.1 games but fails at stereo like borderlands and world of tanks

it's an interesting effort, but it feels appropriate to point out that youtube still only supports 2.0 aac audio, hence, uploading a video with 5.1 audio here just wont differ it from a 2.0 one. i guess you already knew that, although I can't see anyone wrote it in the comment section :)

i have a 5.1 sound set up,

i muted each cannel but only front had sound

using roccat kave 5.1 headphones

@boarderline93 though its a year :P with my setup and THX audigy 2 ZS soundcard i can make 2.1 sound better in my room and more cinematic then everybody else with 5.1 i mean its possible to let 2.1 sound better then 5.1
