Table Tennis 2011 ITTF World rankings December - Championship brought to you from http://tabletennisyoutube.com that reports that:
Ma Long this month is at the top of the table tennis world rankings. Does anyone think it might have anything to do with his new blade he has been using during this time?
Nothing sumarises the top Ma Long and now number 2: Zhang Jike as well as this video of the Men's Final of the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Final for 2011 put together by EnglishTableTennis. The top commenter on that video having this to say:
"Like the world #1 tennis player Rafael Nadal, the world #1 table tennis player Ma Long is such an intensely physical player -- relentlessly covering every inch of the court and unleashing his violent topspin strokes. You can see the effort he puts into every point and the pressure he puts on himself. I bet anyone up to US$1,000 that Ma Long will win the London Olympics."
It's such a relief to finally see Zhang Jike and Wang Hao changing places; Zhang Jike is now at no.2 one ahead of Wang Hao at no.3. Without a doubt the world table tennis championships should confirm this.
Nobody can beat Zhang Jike except Ma Long but imagine knowing that nobody in the world can beat you... Wow, what a brain burp. In November Ma Long never lost a singles match and is unbeaten since early June; his last defeat being in the Men's Singles final at the Volkswagen China Open in Shenzhen by Ma Lin. You can see Ma Lin in was in top form back then and has been sliding down since. This month Ma Lin's rank falls from no.5 to no.7.
Other movers in November are by Germany's Dimitrij Ovtcharov at no.10, having formerly been at no.12. He remained unbeaten at the Liebherr World Team Cup in Magdeburg; notably beating Wang Hao in the duel against China. Thanks to TTpointer providing a great hd close up.
Similarly Kirill Skachkov moves from no.49 to no.33 probably because he beat Ma Lin; whilst one week later in Paris maybe because he had his home crowd behind him, it was Adrien Mattenet's crab walk stealing the show. He enters the top 20 for the first time in his career; climbing from no.24 to no.19 by taking down both Chinese Taipei's Chuang Chih-Yuan and Vladimir Samsonov of Belarus. Let's talk about going down! Samsanov once held the top spot on the World Rankings is in a huge slump; the result is he falls from no.9 to no.14. This is the first time he is out of the top-10 since 1995.
The player to make to most notable progress amongst the top ten is China's dynamic Xu Xin. He is now at no.5, his highest ever listing; formerly he was at no.8. He also remains at no.1 on the Under 21 Men's Rankings followed by Koki Niwa.
nothing changed in the 2012 january work table tennis rankings so I won't bother making a video.

even though I am a supporter of team Korea, I know team China will beat them since China has such a powerful offense that Ryu Seung Min, Joo Se-Hyuk, and Oh Sang Eun can't handle, what is your opinion? Any teams/players you think could take on the Chinese?
