@Kiiara05 just because it's for kids doesn't mean it has to be stupid. Like Doug always says kids aren't as dumb as films have them out to be. Avatar: The Last Airbender series and Batman the animated series are good examples of kid's shows that has silly moments but wasn't playing down to kids. It took the audience more seriously and proved that kids could handle some logic and emotion.

Sorry, I meant in terms of people watching the movie. If it's marketed as a family film and depicts violence against children, you can bet there will be cries of outrage. Within the movie though, you're right: that just wouldn't happen because adults are largely incompetent morons compared to the children...

@weirdTedE91 The inverse ninja idea, okay. I'll accept that because it's been applied many times, but don't tell me kids getting kicked around would offend people. Sure, they'll let guys with guns break into a kids house, but give these kids a few hits and lawsuits are through the roof? The point is, this movie has a gray area and i think they could own up to it better.

@loadedjogger That, my friend is the Inverse Ninja law, no matter how skilled an individual ninja is, they automatically become weaker the more their numbers increase.
Plus, as amusing as it would be to see kids get kicked around (instead of the other way around as is so infuriatingly common with family movies) a lot of people would get offended...

Am I the only one who saw the scene where grandpa uses smoke and appears in the tree and gets asked how he got up there the Nostalgia Critic should've used the scene from Big Trouble in Little China where the same actor (Victor Wong) gets asked the same question and replies with the much better "It wasn't easy"
