South Carolina Railroad Museum - Winnsboro, SC

Take a step back in time and discover one of South Carolina's hidden treasures. The SC Railroad Museum offers train rides and historical perspective on the mode of transportation that led to the great American expansion.
In addition to rides on selected weekends, the museum also offers special events around Christmas and Easter, including rides with Santa or the Easter Bunny! There's even a special themed Halloween trip!
Began in 1973, the SCRM is run by volunteers who have a passion for railroading. From the first-class, air conditioned dining car, to the passenger car and caboose, there's something for everyone.
