Ours is...and he doesn't get handled much, either...so I guess we're lucky.

Well, the reds are about twice as expensive as the black and whites, and have the same temperament. On average, the black and whites are about a hundred US dollars (in the US) and the reds are about $200 US. That's a ballpark price - you can find them for less sometimes.
