I don't know why this matters at all. Jesse Jackson is one of the most irrelevant "leaders" today. The fact that White people seem to have this undying notion to believe Black people follow this dude is ridiculous. The only reason that Obama doesn't totally dismiss him is because he WAS an important civil rights leader, and it would be kind of messed up to diss him like that.
