A southerly storm hits Owhiro Bay Wellington Fri March 12 2010. Winds of over 140 km per hour were recorded. About the time I shot this the roof of the house down the road would have been flying by. Mayhem.

  • why did you chose to speed up the footage? for effect?

  • I shoot most of my footage as timelapse. I have been shooting lots of weather sequences as linking pieces for a short film I am working on.

Check out my Youtube vid called "This Bird has Flown" to see the type of thing I do.

  • is it still sped up at 0:30?

  • No. it's not sped up after 26 sec
