The thing about P5 that I have always liked is that behind all the cool pop art posturing are people with a real sophisticated outlook on music and it's all topped off, naturally, by the warmth of Maki's voice.
This performance here was absolutely epic.

I listened to this song in the 90's, it was a heartbreaking that no more Pizzicato Five. My all time favourites, thanks for the downloading!

I just want to say that this melding of eastern music with Japanese sentiment and the magic of these two talents is overwhelmingly moving. I looked up the lyrics and there is a translation out there. I've always loved the song, now I REALLY love it. All their work is fresh and enjoyable.
