Warcraft vs Starcraft - Terran Murloc Marine vs Zergling - Pet War

Well with Starcraft 2 on the horizon, Blizzcon allowed WoW'ers to obtain a Terran Murloc Marine pet - They also added a little feature where they would battle with any nearby Zergling pets (Zerglings, Mini-Diablo and Panda-Cub being selectable pets of the past).

Here's just some random clips of me and fellow guildy Ronnish releasing them and giggling at the fun show.

The Terran pet is really fun as it has Murloc versions of Terran Marine banter (Gurgle Burgle *bzzzt*), randomly shoots the gun and fires the odd grenade. Zergling isn't as interesting as it tends to sit there, though it makes Zergling noises on click. The pet kill depends on who notices the other first. The Terran Murloc often doesn't register the Zergling until it's too late as it will wait for 1-2 seconds before firing, sometimes leading to amusing double-kills, otherwise if it see's the Zergling at range it will often win hands down.

Interestingly enough, we used the Dalaran Bank wall at one point the the poor little Murloc can lose LoS on the Zergling, resetting the animation and allowing the Zergling to make a sneaky dash up the wall and kill it from behind.

It's a nice little touch from Blizzard and I'd be curious to see what a huge WAR of these pets would look like with, say, 10-50 people of each pet standing next to eachother.

Oh well.

Now if I could just find someone with the Tyrael Pet so I can assault them with my Mini-Diablo!
