The HMC152 does not have 18dB gain. The highest gain possible is 12dB. It gives better colors in low light.

The TM300 highest gain is 18dB. At 18dB gain, it looks almost black and white. Noise is super high too.

The HMC152 has a low quality LCD compared to the TM300. I can see details and good color with TM300 LCD. The viewing angle of the HMC152 LCD is very limited.

Give the Sony HDR-AX2000 AVCHD a look before deciding on your purchase.

  • Filter size should be 72mm in case you didn't find it.....

  • dude would u happen to know the filter diameter of the hmc 152?
