Improve your direct mail marketing results with http://WhatsInYourMail.com. Learn what to do and not do when advertising in ValPak (using Dan Kennedy techniques).
Dan Kennedy's approach to having a advertorial is really NOT a good idea for Valpak. With over 30 ads in every Pak and 3-seconds to quickly understand the value (what's in it for me) having a full slip of text is not going to be considered. I agree for formats like Magazines this may have a good application, but NOT in Valpak. If you have any question just ask them for their eye tracking study. You'll see how quickly consumers pass over advertorials. Valpak WORKS! This suggested format will not.

Valpak uses a very simple methodology as to how people view their ads in the pack. Just like a TV commerical or Radio spot has certain formulas.
An average consumer has 3 to 5 seconds to view each ad so how do you get across your message?
Simplicity... Keep it as simple as possible. Who you are, What you are in the category and What you are offering.
Call your local Valpak rep if you have any questions. I'm sure they'd love to sit down and tell you how well Valpak really works.
