BeBe decided to go through the motions of courting and regurgitating to my thumb (though nothing came up). Kiwi got some action in the middle!

i have a question... if i didn't hand feed my lovebird, will it still be as friendly as yours? i'm geting one thats been hand fed by the breeder (a really nice person who spoils her birds XD) but i've been told that they arn't as friendly if they havn't been hand fed by their owner. is that true, or have i been mislead? (either way im geting one!)

It has nothing to do with handfeeding, it has to do will socialization and trust.

hey am picking up my birdie tomorrow! +) i have a question i know u had BeBe for a year byhimself but like did you go to work and ur husband and leave him alone at home or did some1 stay home to watch him??

Yeah, we would leave him alone at home while we were at work. He did just fine because he had lots of stimulation in his cage including toys and foraging opportunities.
