  • @GolfMatthew lol right? I like how people tell us how far WE hit our ball. Like trust me bro i'm 6'2 with a better than scratch handicap and hit the ball 320 Average driving distance. Not uncommon to see a 370 yard drive with a little wind helping. Just cause you can't doesn't mean everyone can't. But yeah I agree unless you know what your doing i.e. know that you have control of the clubface no matter what your doing then don't swing the club like Lovemark. Or a few other pros (Gainey)? lol

  • looked like a shank with that swing....for the record go look at the "im stacked" people when they won and look at their putting stats, THEYRE OFF THE CHAIN, then look at their GIR, terrible, nice idea but Bob Toski is the best teacher for teaching hands and arms. period.

  • @bgriffon14 You're pretty audastic for telling me how far I hit my own ball. See my other comment. For the record, I'm a +4 handicap. I'm also a very big person, I'm very strong, and my swing is very fast. I'm not an 'average' golfer. I probably benchpress more than 90% of Tour players too. Go take your shit to an average golfer.

  • @GolfMatthew *state not states

  • @bgriffon14

My distances are measured by trackman. I'm turning pro in two years after I finish my freshman and sophomore year of college. I was one of the top five recruits in my entire states, and I have four sponsors. Don't tell me what MY distances are when I KNOW what they are.

  • @GolfMatthew smidge over 300 eh? Well you'd be in the top 10 in driving distance on both the pga and euro tours right now. Everyone thinks they hit it 3 bills, but in actuality your average is probably around 245-250.

  • @xxxDave24xxx

It can also cause a weak, wipey cut with a short iron. Not saying fades are inherently weak(I hit one and average just a smidge over 300), but the weak grip can cause some problems in short irons. For Jamie? Meh. Don't know. Don't watch him that much.

  • @MrBashshar that's what a comment section is for.

  • @bunkerputt I disagree... at least when using a short iron like this. That chicken wing move and weak grip can help create a more accurate/straighter shot... at least with the skill of a pro golfer. Now if it was a long iron then I would agree you need more of a release and stronger grip at the top.

  • This guy's body action is extremely nice with a huge turn. Nice leg action, all exhibiting tremendous athleticism. The grip seems a little weak and too flat at the top requiring his "turn-it-down and hold it past impact" motion. This move is too restrictive and can lead to deceleration of the body if you can't chicken-wing fast enough or turn it over quickly. I'd like to see his grip a touch stronger, a little cup at the top and a free release a little earlier. Other than that, great swing.
