He cocks his fist slightly upon delivering the blow. The hand should be at fingertip length touching the chest. He delivers a nice blow but it is not the same as Brucee Lee's if you watch video footage. He also "pushes" with his fist upon impact rather than snapping the punch as Bruce Lee often demonstrated and explained

One thing i found is, You must sink in your stance. lower your center of gravity, and punch from the center of your body while turning the Hips, i think he stood and punched to High, i learned a lot from Mr Tucci and continue too, Love the Jun Fan Posts

@tj1774 - Actually, the monk wasnt that good at it. He had to pull back about 5". I met a guy who did the 1" punch using a single extended knuckle, no pull-back, and BAM! My chest was burning on fire in severe sharp pains for 4hrs long - and that was thru a 4" thick phone book. When the punch hit, it was so powerful, it felt like my spine was gona break. I barely moved back at all. Less than 1ft. btw:Watch "Chen Xiaowang -fajin" for the most impressive explosive power u will ever witness.
