Thanks for the memories!!! My Dad used to work for Western Airlines, "The only way to fly", I just loved to fly with the old pistons. You could enjoy the flight at lower altitudes and see more scenary. Every summer from Denver Stapleton airfield to Minneapolis then jump from a DC-7 on to a Convair 440 to Chicago or Wausau, WI. I have been hooked on aviation every sence. Thanks again!!

Cool video, reminds of the first airline trip I can remember at age 5, was in 1961, Continental Viscount from Albuquerque to Dallas, Delta DC-7 from Dallas to New Orleans, Southern Convair from New Orleans to Mobile. Took all day to do it, flying was an exciting adventure back then especially for a kid. Now days I dread having to get on another Regional Jet to get somewhere, lol. Thanks for bringing back some good memories!

This is a wonderful piece of work. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially knowing it represents a huge childhood memory. Thank you!

pretty cool, my only problem is the guy at 0:43 would hav gotten sucked in. but still pretty cool. was this sumthing that rly happened?

That was pretty neat!
Thanks for posting it
The flight really did happen. I was 6 years old at the time. So the positioning of ground crew was based on looking at pictures from that era more than actual memory.

This video has now been out for 3 years now. The biggest surprise has been the pleasant emotional response people had had from watching it.

I had the wrong developer listed. It's A2A Simulations (formerly Shockwave) that's coming out with a B377.
