Oh yes and loved it. Favorite bits: the intro set in the 1970s here in my part of the world, Keith being the shoulder all of Jagger's squeezes cried on when Mick cheated on them, calling Hugh Hefner a pimp, saying Lennon was more bravado than bite, and the only reason why he didn't let Mick fall out of that window in Venice after Charlie slugged him for Mick calling Charlie "his" drummer.

Nice to hear him say something nice about Bill. Does the band good!

And THAT'S why Keith looks like he does. ;-) But yes, they're all about having a good time and enjoying life. Have you read Keef's book?

Baron Samedi: vodun (voodoo) lord of the dead, known for being a flamboyant party animal who likes sex and liquor, performs lewd actions and jokes when riding his horse (possessing a person) during a ceremony.
In short, he's all about how because life is so short and death is forever, every night is a night for a party in his view. THAT'S the energy I feel from the Stones.

I'm too lazy to Google this: "a baudy voudoun ceremony honoring Baron Samedi." Please explain, por favor.

In their hearts, they know it too. Like I said before, they probably have known it better than us and way before our own revelations on the subject. When I watch them perform these days, it's like watching a baudy voudoun ceremony honoring Baron Samedi. Today is the day to live because one day there will be no tomorrow. That might be the source of the energy that keeps them going.

That's the weird thing about getting older - family and friends (and actors and entertainers and public figures we've grown up with) start falling away like leaves from a tree. My peers aren't dying yet, but some of my parents' friends and some of my aunts and uncles have passed on. I've seen the Stones several times in concert but passed this time around after seeing the concert on cable late last year. Father Time is catching up with them (as it he with all of us, sooner or later.)

Worth pointing out too is the fact that these guys have seen who knows how many friends and whatnot go way before them, so Mr. D is less of a stranger to them than it is to most people. Charlie beat throat cancer a few years back, let's recall, so it's not as though they're not getting regular reminders.

Or as Rodney Dangerfield said, "My doctor tells me if I take EXCELLENT care of myself, I'll get very sick and die.

Ha...well, as I heard someone put it once, who would have thought back in the '70s that Keith would still be alive and John Denver would be dead? He might surprise us yet.
I think all the Stones have faced up to the fact that one day they're going to die, just like the rest of us mortals. I remember in a 2005 interview Mick talking about how he has had no serious health scares yet but that he knew it was coming. All you can do is stay as healthy as possible, he concluded.
