@VIC4SALE so true im a construction builder so stay safe some extra bucks aint worth dying for .....if any dies the company gone have big things to answer for so they hate risk takers atleast in Norway

I dont trust safe clime devices 'till I inspect them from top to bottom. I've seen some that are not tied off at the top.

@BlackGoldEstates The climber is using a Lad-Safe cable sleeve while ascending,in addition to a work positioning lanyard when stopped.

A couple years ago i got to the top of a 180' monopole to find the safe climb taken off the mount and stuffed inside a port hole i was so pissed now i am much more aware

Sadly there is no way of knowing for sure without putting eyes on it.We try to use binos but you can't always see clearly to the top.A test performed at the bottom by putting your weight into it helps,but it is better to be safe and ascend safely than to take an unnecessary risk.
