Yes, the whole idea of the Tibetans being liberated from themselves is one of the primary justifications for the justification of Chinese is being pumped out through the Chinese single party state controled media and education system. But don't you think it is ironic that the this benevolant Han paternalism is identical to the philosophy of the "White Man's Burden" which justified Europe's saving of Africa from itself in the 19th century.

BREAKING NEWS: An angry and visibly intoxicated Dalai Lama was arrested early this morning after assaulting a photographer outside the newly revamped Studio 54 discotheque in Manhattan. "As soon as he saw that camera, he just went off," said bouncer Todd Gehr, who was guarding the exit at the time. "I grabbed him by his saffron prayer robe and pulled him off [Pallas]. He tried chanting for a minute, but then more flashbulbs started popping, and he completely lost it again."

From the Chinese I keep on hearing slogans like Tibetan brothers are part of the big Chinese family while it is the Tibetan exiles who are persistently highlighting the racial and cultural differences. Instead of racial harmony, they choose to focus on racial divide. Curious......

are you kidding me? the earthquake in China on May 12 had an epicenter close to the region of minorities where Tibetans are 50-90% populated. The Chinese militia and thousands of volunteers all over the country are risking their lives to save the mass civilians buried underground. To talk about human rights? As Tibetans, you should be the first ones to donate and go to China to volunteer to save your fellow Tibetans! Yet i see no action! What have you done for Tibetans?
