Brendon Clark's near-death experience

Brendon Clark gets slammed into the ground by Black Smoke at the 2009 Bass Pro Shops Shootout in Omaha, Neb. After being stabilized by the sports medicine team, he was transported by local emergency personnel to Creighton University Hospital, where he underwent tests for internal injuries. Clark was then admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with a lacerated liver, contusions and bleeding in both lungs, and rib fractures.

Hands down, this is my favorite sport! In no other context can I root for an animal to kill a person and have no moral hang up about it. Keep it up guys. For those who criticize these guys just know that you won't be able to watch this kind of thing in the 21st century for very much longer. The caveman notion that "I am dominant over animal, and I must show that to everyone." is a dying idea. Enjoy these guys getting their heads caved in and livers punctured while you still can!
