  • yes i would say he was on a journey somewhere...but i doubt he was planning to cross the alps...my theory is;;; he was alone or in company, on some trek...came upon unfriendly locals ,(as you sometimes do,like in the movie DELIVERENCE..) & after suffering a battle wound ...fled to the high country to escape his pursuers.

no i'm not saying he was raped by hillbillies lol,,, just that the possibilities on what really happened, are endless.

  • @masheenman oh no there is a problem with that theory, the people living in northern Italy at this time did not have alcohol yet, and it is a proven scientific fact that no one in their right mind would eat a kebab sober

  • he only went out for a kebab and got lost so decided to chill out

  • @monsterfifty7 Interesting theory. However to me the tools he's carrying instantly suggest a solo scout. Nothing to say he wouldn't have the same tools while in a group though. Just seems prepared and carrying everything needed on 1 person.

  • @greeny202a oh thanks alot.

  • @trip247365 Woooaahh this is waayyy before anything in North Africa and just before civilization arose in Asia with the Sumerians, the city of Ur was just being started when Otzi was around.

  • @strangerlover11 Yes just like your intelligence!!

  • If otzi survived this long by being protected from glacial action by being buried among the rocks, how do we know he wasn't among other people whose remains were swept away by glacial action outside the protection of the rocks?? I don't think he was the only victim of murder or slaughter. People just didn't travel alone for obvious reasons, especially when survival of the fittest was law. Maybe women were more valuable that copper and thats why he and others were killed and valuables were found

  • It's the remains of Dovahkiin.

  • @trip247365,....So,"I'm pretty sure",better shut off M&M and try some history. For the Egyptians to become so advanced, given just allot of sand, and time, how long did it take them? Pre-Pyramid time to get to that point ?
