@HattieLovesCattie Sounds like you had quite a day there. The snow can lock you in if you are not careful though.
I do some traveling and learning how to record them. So far I have 3 of my trips on YouTube. Getting ready to leave Monday for another one.
Hoping to get my family to work with me and do a skit while we are together.

@samjaksmom On the slide in Winter Park in 1992,I was on the slide and an old man with his grandson was on the sled in front of me and stopped about 20 feet from the bottom.I yelled at him and asked him why was he stopping?I was a little upset with him coz he stopped too early.

@samjaksmom S.D.is a pretty state.We enjoyed our day driving around Fargo and went to the little mall and saw the Roger Marris exhibit.We had lunch at a Krolls in Fargo and in St.Cloud,we had dinner at IHOP then drove back to our motel near the airport.We flew home the next day,good thing we did coz that area we had been in 24 hrs before,they had snow and this was early April!!! They had a "whiteout " on that hwy from Minneapolis to Fargo.

I live in Colorado and have been on the slides out here as well. Ofcourse then I was going so fast I almost ran into a friend of mine. She was the one taking her time going down. LOL
My folks live in Custer SD, and we go out all the time. You see so many of the sights over and over, that you just want something different now and then.

@samjaksmom My apologies for being sarcastic.Glad you had fun and you did do a pretty good job of filming too.That slide looks like fun.The only part of S.D.I've been in is the Fargo and we had flown to Minneapolis and rented a car to drive to Morehead and Fargo.I have been on slides in Winter Park,Co.,Attitash in N.H.and two smaller slides in Tenn and Ky.

In truth it is not easy to record and control that thing at the same time. And okay I am a big girl which will slow me down.
But also my dad in the video has alhimerz and I did not want him to get confused or lost on the way down.
Still we had fun while we where there.

There was like no one there and the person up top knew to wait until we got done.
My Dad does not move as fast as I do, but that does not mean I should deny him a little fun.
