You're going to love your braces. You choose different colors. And when they come off you'll feel a little sad. Love the process!

Well I'll be getting them this year and I'm really shacky be cause it's in like 3 months and I'm 15

you shouldnt feel ugly and horrible. you'll have amazing teeth :D i got braces 6 days after you :) and i still have them now. how are your teeth getting on now? x

@JSol80 Dude im only 12 and i just got my braces but from what i know If your braces hurt like that your suppsed too take em in to the the orthadonist too get a checkup they should be able too do sumthing and did they give u the item too put on your braces too make then smoother when your in pain? they work

What type of braces did you get? They look much smaller than traditional metal braces?

They are just the normal braces, I asked for the silver bands around the brackets so to not bring too much attention to them-maybe thats helped them looking a bit smaller?!

I've just had braces put on. Just the top ones and then the bottom ones in a few months' time. I'm 29 yrs old. The braces are quite a pain...literally! They are rubbing the inside of my tops lip red raw, so with the bottom ones on too it's going to be double the pain!! I guess I'll get used to them soon...

I haven't even noticed the bottom ones to be honest, the wires are poking into my cheek at the moment at the bottom but no other real pain. The bar across the roof of my mouth has caused me the most problems as i have a huge cut across my tongue, but the braces in themselves are feeling better. The rubbing seems to ease after a few days!
