*Note: I did ask about the bean paste and was told that it is used to feed those living in the temple, and some is given away freely to temple visitors (while the supply lasts).

  • beautiful sweetheart... very beautiful... wish i am there to walk around with you....

  • ... would love to have you here! Mwah!

  • Dear Ron, Thanks for for sharing this. My mother died of a heart attack when she visited Palgongsan with her close, old friends in July 2003. T_T... I just can't stop watching this video. I also watched your videos shot in Pohang, my hometown. I have not been there for about 20 years. I can't go there for some reasons. Sigh..

  • Please accept my condolences. I'm sure you've missed your mother. I hope this video didn't stir up too much discomfort. I enjoyed going to Pohang and plan to return soon. All the best to you.

  • Ron, I hope that all goes well with you in South Korea. With all the saber rattling going on in the North I am concerned about you. Take care of yourself and thank you for the informative and scenic videos.

  • Thank you. From all I've read, seen, and heard, life is going on "business as usual" all over South Korea. Making the video was my pleasure.

  • Your comment consoled me a lot. I have nothing to say but to thank you.. If you have a chance to visit Pohang again, try to have hallf-dried Pacific herring/ saury . The best season for this stuff is winter though.

  • I'm enjoying it very much!

  • ....since mid October, 2008.

  • How beautiful & serene Ron. How long have you lived in Korea?
