Most of the newer Netbooks come with a high gloss lid, they looks great until you start to actually use them, then they get covered in greasy fingers and smudges and look terrible.
You could carry a cleaning cloth around with you and constantly be cleaning it, or you could do as i did and apply a Carbon Fibre Vinyl skin to the glossy lid.
No more greasy fingerprints, no more scratches, no more constant cleaning.

For everything Eee related check out the forums on www.eeeuser.com

I brought my Vinly from this ebay seller.

  • Great job

  • @InnovationJunkie thanq dode

  • @PancakePlease Thats great!! i did try to make a video of me applying the vinyl but to be honest it came out crap. it was the first time i have ever done it and it took a few attempts to make it look perfect, so the video was a bad example. luckily the vinyl is decent stuff and can be peeled off and re-done a few times before it loses its stickyness, so just take your time with it and you should be fine. try search for other vinly vids to get tips and advice. and comment back with how you did!

  • awesome. im orderin one. can you post a how to vid though im bad with this type of crap unless i see it visually.
