Leading jazz bassist Chris Minh Doky spoke to Jazzwise magazine about his new album The Nomad Diaries (Blue Note), how he created it on the road, recording it in hotels and studios around the world, he also talks about his friend and colleague Michael Brecker with whom he worked with and who performs also on the new album - he also talks about his Yamaha Silent Bass.

  • Well yeah, but Victor Borge lived in the States for 60 years and didn't sound nearly as american.

  • he didn't seem to see the funny side of breaking a string live though!...decent sort of chap all the same
