@csclsoccer They are supposed to fail the test, but it matters how long it take to fail. My brother had a 2000 Honda Accord Coupe with leather, and the leather is thin, and feels ashy now due to bad quality of the leather. My sister has a 1999 Lexus ES. The leather still feels nice and solid as of today.

@mizzLAgymnast93 leather in a lexus is heated and cooled now the only thing you have to worry about is the animals but i dont like cloth because it shocks you

@mizzLAgymnast93 and what should people do with all the cows that turned to burgers? just toss their skins in the trash? that would be disrespectful woudn't it? this way we'll always remember dear clara (the cow) that gave her body to feed us , every time we wear her skin, or sit on her. peace.

@csclsoccer testing to failure means they start low and increase until it is ruined. It's the only way to find out exactly what it can take before it does fail. Any leather will be ruined at high enough temperatures, abrasion, puncture force, etc.

Right, that's why they are consistently one of the most reliable and durable cars on the road. They are pretty much always ranked the best in some category. Toyota single handedly destroyed the automotive market here in the states, they destroyed all the competition so bad the competition practically went bankrupt.

Go to 0:23 and listen to what they say. My interior is from 1991, and it has no tears, I love my Lexus.

PETA makes me want to kill animals out of spite... bigger and better things to worry about. PETA has done nothing but bitch. PETA will never get anything done.
