he probably has trouble with flip tricks because his trucks are so loose. if i had to choose between skating like that or doing a kickflip i'm pretty sure which one i'd choose.

Are you really so lame as to judge a skate part on how many flip tricks it has? Flip tricks are a very small part of what skating is as a whole.
