As a part of Regional hearing of Barind Campaign Area, nearly 50 Adibashi (indigenous community members) men gathered in Kakon Hat, a small village near the North easterner Bangladesh with Bows and Arrows to hunt for their targeted goal of a binding, fair and just climate deal. After a colourful traditional dance of hunting, they shoot at the targets with demands including "45% reduction of emission by 2050," " 1.5% of the GDP for Adaptation" and "Open Borders for Climate Refugee" .
Adibasi community who are traditionally dependent on the nature are the most effected by climate change. Lack of rain and extreme water scarcity is causing enormous challenges for these communities to continue farming. Decreasing rainfall had turned their lands to almost desert. They want immediate action from the world to protect their lives and livelihood.
