Vietnam conflict, my tour at Udorn RTAFB, '72 - '73. This 5th and last segment reflects the F-4D in the air. This may bring back memories for some of you pilots.

  • Well....certainly glad you visited and liked it. Thanks for your service sir!

  • Certainly glad you enjoyed. Thanks for the comments!

  • Great video! I was stationed at Udorn from July 72 to July 73. Just in time for Linebacker II. I was an aircraft electrician in the 432 FMS. I'll bet I worked on more than one of the F-4s in the video. I miss the Redwood restaurant!

  • @Fooster50

Wow - small world - we may have seen each other at some point. Thanks for serving. I remember Linebacker II only too well. Dec 72 was a busy month, eh? take care......Sam.

  • Loved each and every one of the videos. Brought back a lot of memories for me. Thanks for making these available to Udorn Vets. Sincerely, Bob Mull, 432nd Security Police Sqdn., Udorn RTAFB, 1971-1972

  • Great work!!!!! Udorn 1970-71-72-73-74 Base flight [ mini oversea airline] C-47 fly forever

  • Thanks for posting this video. The aerial photography (especially of the base) is well done. I was at Udorn from May 1969 to May 1970 (432nd CES). Your video sure refreshes old memories.

  • @Fooster50 Yep. Helicopter rescue crew chief.

  • @haywired58 I did see Bob Hope. He became my favorite entertainer that day. It was a very sad day for me when Bob passed away. You were on the Rescue Pad with Pedro?

  • @Fooster50 Sawadee Kap. I was there too on the rescue pad Det 5, 38th ARRS. Did you see Bob Hope?
