I have , clicking ,read write noise after my little brother , picked up the External IOMEGA Casing , with this Seagate Hdrive inside it , and tilted it sideways ,while it was running , it made this noise then get stuck , making buzzing sound. Now it is stuck.
What went on there? And how to repair it?
my Drive is :Seagate barracuda 320 Gb IDE ST3320820A 9BJ03G-505

@RA71296105195 Hi, if i understood correctly, this drive fell down. If this happened, then heads got damaged. Hard drive was clicking for some time because heads got damaged and they couldn't calibrate, and then, after some time, heads dropped on the platters and got stuck to them. The other possibility can be that the motor spindle got jammed and that the platters were spinning slower and slower, and at some point stopped spinning.

@RA71296105195 This drive can't be repaired. It could only be brought to work temporarily just for the purposes of recovering the data from it. If you don't need data, it's better to buy a new hard drive.
