  • I use coupons, but never on food. The food coupons are almost always on junk. I rarely use coupons because the stuff i buy are items that supposed to last a while like interchangeable razors and bottles of lotion. At the most, i spent three hours on coupons and that's maybe twice a month. This woman at least spends 15 hrs a week. Some couponers go up to 40 a week. I rather work and interact with people.

  • It's cheap but it's all crap!

  • My dads a doctor. Deal with it.

  • learn to steal then its all free ,,fuck society

  • I'd bet she spends more than "a couple of hours" each week doing this.

I've found that most good coupons are for things I wouldn't buy in the first place.

  • Nice savings, but a majority of the things those kinds of coupons cover are all junk. That pantry she had wasn't stocked with the healthiest of foods. I'm surprised her family is as thin as it is. I hope she uses the money she saves to splurge on fresh fruits and veggies!

  • @milomilo55 Yeah but the word coupon is actually a French word (derived from the root word "coupe" (pronounced "koop") which means "cut"...hence why coupons are usually things you cut out) and thus the proper pronunciation is actually "koop-on". Just because a large number of people pronounce something a certain way doesn't automatically make it a correct alternative.

  • @GigglinHamster Both pronunciations are correct. The pronunciation of certain words will vary depending on where you live. The people in the city I live in pronounce coupon exactly like she does. Some people pronounce almond like "all-mond" others as "ah-mond" . Some people pronounce often as "offen", and others say "off-ten". What's ignorant is assuming that everyone speaks exactly like you.

  • It's very bad food for her family, if I were her I'd rather find a job that pays and can buy my family healthy, fresh food

  • FAKE

  • WANT TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE? Stop pronouncing it 'CUE-PON'!!!!!!! LEARN TO SAY 'KOO-PON' - especially if you are as obsessed with coupons as Cathy Spencer is. After saying 'KOO-pon' while writing out the word 'coupon' about five or ten times, go back and listen to Cathy's irritating pronunciation 'CUE-pon' over and over and over. Am I getting through to anyone? Yeah, we all want to learn how to save a buck, but please, stop torturing our ears with your ignorant pronunciations!

  • i should do that for now on
