PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) is a laser vision correction procedure that has over 10 years of history and was approved by the FDA as a safe and permanent procedure. If you are concerned about the risk of laser vision correction or LASK, this may be an ideal procedure for you as there is no microkeratome used. Although complications are rare, the microkeratome has been associated with the majority of serious complications. Even with a problem, most patients regain excellent vision. Our microkeratome is among the safest available and we only use factory certified and approved equipment. The device is disposable and only used on your eye. Call 702-368-2010 for a free screening exam or 843-733-2020 to save $100 on laser vision correction.
The 3rd day after PRK Laser Eye Surgery is supposed to be the most painful, yet as I awoke this morning---moderate soreness & pain...perhaps everyone has a different pain threshold; Sensitivity to light has certainly increased today. And objects seem to be hyper-layered: Somewhat overlapping & distorted.
