Incorrect. Even without Kinky, Bell wouldn't be able to beat Perry because he simply isn't moderate enough for most Texans. If anyone is capable of beating Perry, it is Kinky. I talk to folks every day who are voting Kinky because they are sick of both parties, as well as people who haven't voted in years and are voting Kinky. Also, there are the 100,000 new registered voters this year in TX. They didn't register to vote for Perry, Strayhorn, or Bell- I promise you.

There are two kinds of voters - those who help Rick Perry get reelected, and those who vote for Chris Bell. You've made which side you are on clear. Perry should offer Strayhorn and Kinky positions in his administration as thanks.

You know what's irresponsible? Chris Bell not denouncing the Royce West attack ads against Kinky. That is essentially soft money that Chris is accepting in the form of advertising. Kinky is no racist, and both Bell and West know it. How typical of the Democratic party. Kinky is a uniter, Chris is a divider (in typical two-party fashion). The only lesson here is that Chris is too liberal for the most Texans, while Kinky is moderate enough to appeal to the majority.
