This video is helping me so much right now. I'm doing this song for a solo and I didn't even know how to pronounce the title until I came across this video. Thank you so much for posting this. It's an extreme help for me. Very sorry for the negative comments though, you did an excellent job.

I happened upon this video because I'm currently working on this piece and I wanted to see how some others sang it. I was sad to see that you were attacked for posting it. I'm a Choral Music Education major at Florida State University and I think that if you were putting this video up so that your students could get the basics of pitch and rhythm then it serves its purpose. Thanks for giving me an idea for a teaching tool!

if you don't know how to sing, don't show how poor you are or expect to hear professional opinions. Check out Kathleen Ferrier singing this piece then you will understand (if you have ears) that you are not a singer, neither starting nor ending. Truth hurts but not everything is for everybody. This video was created with one goal in mind, to teach pitch and rhythm. I do not claim to be a professional singer. I teach high school chorus students & this was an easy way to help them. You may notice a little voice at the end of the video. That's my 2 year old daughter. We hoped she would remain quiet while we recorded. I was familiar with the piece, but I didn't practice it or even warm-up before singing the piece. Why the negative feedback when you no one is making you listen?
