In this video we'll be looking at the basics of flat water front loops.
Common problems with flat water loops:
Not timing the 'bounce' with the 'tuck' properly and falling face first into the water - This happens a lot to begin with and the only real remedy is to keep practising your bouncing - always remember to throw the loop just before the peak of a bounce, not after.
Falling backwards off the stern after landing the loop - To help with pulling the loop through try a 'loop stroke' - this is basically a bracing sweep behind your head after you land on the stern.
