Oppressive Patriarchy in USA

The Christian Patriarchy Movement has spawned the stay-at-home daughterhood movement. It's a branch of evangelical Christianity that takes beliefs about men as leaders and women as homemakers to anachronistic extremes. Patriachy is important. When my parents split up I fell apart when it wasn't a patriachic system and my sister killed herself, if my dad and uncles were still there for me to look up to and go to for advice it would never have happened.

People have the right to raise their children how ever they wish. People grow into adults and then can find their own way. Just like people have a right to raise their kids with Feminist ideas, these people should have the right to do what they want.

"Patriarchy" is a modern bullshit term, there is no such thing, just as "oppression of women for centuries".

And when it all crashes down, well, there will be no more police protection, McDonalds, cheap electricity and other goods of civilisation - it will be a hard life of a survivalist!! And guess what, women are NOT survivors! Without men they will die of hunger, thirst and by the hands of looters.

When "martial law" rules, there is no feminism.

@mrgimp420 I got married because I wanted to be in a committed relationship with a person I love. I do not expect him to take care of me but we choose to take care of each other. Working full time, part time or making the choice to be at home is a personal one and choices both genders now have the choice to make.
