An extended, in-depth interview with well-known transgender advocates Helen Boyd and Betty Crow. Helen is the author of the book "My Husband Betty", which explores the relationships of crossdressing men and their female partners, as well as a follow-up, "She's Not the Man I Married", a more serious and expansive examination of gender roles in relationships. Betty Crow is a professional actor who has appeared on daytime TV in "All My Children" as a transgender woman, who also works as a web designer and 3D animator.

  • Calling me perverse is certainly neither loving nor respectful. Yes, I was born male and will never be fully female. But DO I live as a woman.

As for rights being violated, the slightest effort would reveal to you that transgender people are routinely fired from their jobs, harassed, and have violence done to them, all at a much higher rate than the general population. We are the scapegoats for your gender discomfort, that same discomfort that makes you write so insultingly here.

  • @NNangeroni, I just found this show. I'm definatley enjoying it so far and, as a transgendered person myself, I definately appreciate your candor.

I do, however, wish that the shows were a bit longer... they seem rather rushed.

  • what you feel is what you are! if you feel you're a he or a she the that's what you are! like what they say trap in a wrong body! M2F transgenders live their lives as a woman which what they really are! medical procedures would modify the body parts to make it as feminine as possible but the real essence of being a woman is feeling like a woman from within! everyone deserves respect! for narrow-minded people really needs to be educated about LGBT coz they would need that for sure!

  • @sancheja100 She acknowledged that she will never be a biological female. Are you saying she does not have the right to engage in a lawful medical procedure and be treated, in a legal sense, as a female. Would you really send a transgendered individual, dressed in a skirt and high heels into a men's room for example?

  • I am not exactly sure what right's transgenders are saying are violated. Is is the right to say that a man who is born a man is a women. This MAN in this video seems like a really nice person but nothing will ever change the fact that he was born a man and will die a man no matter what fleshly change he decides to make. HE deserves love and HE deserves respect, but he does not deserve to be lied to and called a women even if the perversion that lives within him desires to be called one.
