Noreen Crone-Findlay has posted a video tutorial of how to weave a square on the bias on the potholder loom. She has figured out a very clever way of solving the dilemma of the gappy spaces on the potholder loom. In this video, Noreen Crone-Findlay is weaving with 'Tarn', which is 't shirt yarn', made by cutting continuous lengths of fabric strips from old t shirts. This makes a fab yarn that is totally eco friendly, as it is re-purposed, upcycled, recycled, reclaimed and re-using old t shirts that were going to be thrown away.

  • This is a great video--thanks for sharing your ideas in such an easy to follow and see form. I wish someday you'd also do a video on tips for making tutorial videos. Yours are so well produced. Thanks!

  • @fpfiber Thank you so much! I hadn't thought about making a video on making videos- that's food for thought! I spend a lot of hours on each video. The video that gets uploaded is NEVER the first one I shoot.

Lots and lots of planning, preparing and organizing goes into each video.

:o) thanks again for the kind comment!

  • AHHHHHHH!!! Once again....I'm amazed at your creativity.....and so simple.....Thank you!!!

  • @jvfeline Big grins here! thank you so much! :o) To be honest, it took a lot of experimenting to make it work, but it was worth it :o)

  • @HayBea THank you so much for doing that! Clever of you! :o)

  • @NoreenCroneFindlay Went to one of those free translation websites - it seems to be Portugese, and the direct translation that came back was: "Loom is well different than I know." Am guessing that 'well' could maybe be 'very'...

  • @SuperHife Aw........ bless your heart! You have truly made my day! Thank you thank you!

  • @SuperHife @SuperHife I am sorry, but I don't speak your language.... but happy weaving, anyhow!

  • ok, thank you!

  • @jufconnie I hope that you will be able to make your trip and that you'll be able to pick up a loom when you are in NYC. Do you have friends that could order one for you?
