@k2kraze there won't be any spammers at all, but it would be a huge blunder if Blizzard simply did nothing and let the same issues that effected the previous game to afflict this one as well. Not sure what your last point is as Diablo 3 has no subscription based fee, and so saying you don't need them is kind of strange. Yes having this RMAH be optional DOES mean it won't ruin the game because if you have a problem with it in any way you can simply ignore it and play as if it doesn't exist

@k2kraze They have a percentage tax because a third party (paypal etc.) is needed to do the actual money transactions, naturally a money making company will charge a fee for providing a service. Bots in Diablo 2 plagued the player base by spamming website adresses where you can buy ingame items for real money, this is now a system built into the game and is much safer and more reliable, therefore players will not need or want to got to said sites. I am not naive enough to believe that-----

@lucaschallenger If it's not a money grab, why do they tax you? There's absolutely no reason why Blizzard should be getting a cut of your money.

Do you think this will stop bots? Really? Bots will always be in games like these, and adding features into games that degrade it is not the way to battle it. I don't see how you could even remotely see it stopping spammers.

No sub fee? See Guild Wars 2, TF2, CS:S. You don't need sub fees, it's a money grab. Optional doesn't mean it wont ruin the game
