Riz Khan takes a look at the state of al-Qaeda 20 years after it was founded and explores what the future holds for Osama bin Laden's operation.

Does al-Qaeda remain the primary terrorist threat to the US and the rest of the world?

  • Dear Sulculac,

You are JUST postulating=creating lies to cover the false hood Islam.

PROVE that Mohammed was really a prophet sent by Allah? If Mohammed was a true prophet, then you could prove him to be just like for Moses who could be proven to be a true prophet of the True Allah.

    AMEN IN CHRIST JESUS

  • Gracias!, queria saber que decia el comentario.Gracias nuevamente.

Pero que quieres decir con "Tambien, hemos dicho que las politicas de los musulmanes extremistas son totalmente incompatibles con las politicas de la libertad del oeste"??

  • Are they those Buddhist terrorists or something? Scary people.

  • I agree with you, but there seems to be an ideological box here that tries to simplify everything into one-issue cause and effect, when realistically there are a number of causes for the position of the Islamic extremists. In the end, however, yes, their position is entirely incompatible with one of basic human liberties.

  • Simply put, the values of the West (feminism, free expression, equality) are incompatible with those of the Islamists, and thus this fight would occur regardless of American foreign policy.

  • A much smaller part than you think. The fact remains that the goal of al-Quada is the formation of a global Islamic caliphate and the application of sharia. American foreign policy plays a minuscule part in their hatred for the West. Hitchens referenced America's (just) support for the separation of East Timor from Indonesia, and how that action garnered outrage from the Islamists. We cannot exercise our rights to free speech (ie. Rushdie, cartoons) w/o causing hatred...

  • Quien los traduce al espanol por favor ???

    Gracias !!

  • Then I guess it's good that the Swedes and Danes converted before anything bad could happen to them! (sarcastic emoticon)

btw, you do realize that Osama and Al-Zawahiri both belong to upper-class families, and that the Binladens are one of the wealthiest families in the world with strong connections to government officials in the US and Islamic world, right? you know what that says about your theory?

dude, believe what you want, but don't take offence when somebody calls you stupid!
