Simply put, a caustic surface envelopes light rays and reflects or refracts them by a curved surface, such as water in a swimming pool.

Learn how to create a photorealistic rendering of water inside of a swimming pool using caustic effects in V-Ray for SketchUp.

  • @joeynuggetz Are you idiot?? VRAY is the best render engine in the world.

  • I followed all the guideline but the render doesn't show up with waves, I mean, it seems static in the render. I chose an image like yours "moving water".png

What do you think would have been wrong in my case? I say it again, I followed all the steps you explain. Thanks a lot.
