This is a 10 minute tribute to the 1979 occult horror film "The Legacy" which was based on the novel by John Coyne. Katharine Ross and Sam Elliott star as an interior decorator and her boyfriend who travel to England for a job she has been paid for by a mysterious millionaire. When their motorcycle and sidecar is involved in a minor accident in the English countryside, a man invites them to his mansion while their bike is repaired. The next morning, Five beautiful people arrive for a weekend in the country. An unseen host lies wasting away upstairs...Five heirs wear a mysterious ring that each thinks entitles them to the Legacy. All five watch the body of the sixth float to the side of the indoor pool...Four claim the unspeakable power of the Legacy, while a red stain spreads across the ceiling...Three realize that the Legacy has come to claim THEM, while outside dogs dine on what was once a man...And then there are two. terrific 70's style horror mumbo jumbo that is probably the best film of its type ever. Directed by Richard Marquand ("The Empire Strikes Back"), this thriller has it all...including a very gratuitous shot of Sam Elliott's bare ass in an infamous shower scene (Included here in its entirety). Elliott and Ross met on the set of this film and married a few years later, they are still happily married to this day. Roger Daltrey of the rock group "The Who" co stars. Featuring Kiki Dee's theme song "Another Side of Me". I hope you enjoy this tribute.
