This video features a jetBlue a320 landing at MCO (Orlando Intl) after departing from JFK (New York Kennedy). Great flight as always with a great landing! I always think its cool to see the spoilers in action while on an approach - they sure made use of them on this one!

Flight info:
Flight time: around 2 hours
Cruise: FL370
Recorded: March 16, 2010
Seat: 17F

  • great videos bro 5 stars!

  • @akturksener123

    thanks man!

  • shutting down engine while taxing? Are you crazy???

  • @2609yannick

It's a common practice in the airline industry after landing, it saves on fuel.

  • @frequentairbusflyer8 ow wait is this a 2 engine or 3 engine plane? cuz somthings like you said they do shut down the engines. but this is not only to save fuel, but also after a whole flight the engines are extremely warm. so they can cool down.

  • @2609yannick

the a320 is a 2 engine aircraft, only one engine is needed during taxi

  • Great video, also thanks for the supers.

  • @2609yannick sometimes if the airport is really crowded or the space that the plane parks in is very exact, they might shut down both engines (or be tugged to a taxiiway if they were departing) to keep the jetblast from damaging people or planes on the ground.

  • Thanks for posting a great video. You do good work.
