  • I don't suppose you guys have a video of you playing the whole show at a competition or anything do you? This marimba part sounds pretty good. My high school has played a couple of ensembles by Casella.

  • Yea thats why he ended up deciding to switch to the softer chord mallets... It was much more delicate and yes, hes a pretty good mallet player :)

  • oh ok that makes sense. the actual playing is excellent, but the hardness of the mallets is just too harsh for my personal taste

  • They are hard mallets, he actually ended up playing the part with medium chord mallets.
