  • wow, this is rediculous

the germans didnt get slaughtered in ww1 or ww2 because of scopes

the GERMANS INVENTED THE FIRST SCOPES USED FOR RIFLES

and in ww2... the GERMANS INVENTED NIGHTVISION FOR RIFLEMEN and soldiers issued the STG44 (without hitlers permission of use of the STG44 early in the war)

this just typical american propaganda of "we invented everything"

when really we should thank the Nazi's for the jet plane, night vision, bolt action rifle, assault rifle, and many many more!

  • @nle4lyfe the Germans made a secret deal with the Americans and British to sell them their scopes for exchange for rubber to make tiers.

the first rifle is kind of unclear who made it, but it did originate in the european areas of or near Germany & Austria

the modern day rifle is the result of taking a Blunderbuss which shot a bunch of debris or pellets and making it shoot only one projectile, the first rifles were eventually Muzzleloaders, no bullets were around so they had to load powder, charges, and ball ammo into the gun, a good soldier could shoot about 3 shots every minute, and it even won the US revolution

  • @warthog570

not german propaganda man, look it up, u can even find pictures of american soldiers finding captured nazi STG44's with Night Vision scopes mounted on top of their guns, they were big as hell too!

indeed and one of the worlds deadliest bullets... the 8mm Mauser, it was the 50 cal of its day!!, the worlds most accurate rifle... the Mauser k98 (both the original Gwhere & the karabiner 98), and not to mention the Mauser bolt action itself was such a huge innovation that the Americans copied it right away with the m1903 and the english copied it with the Enfield, both to be proven less deadly against well trained german snipers, their 8mm Mauser ammo, and their k98's
